Zettelkasten and Evergreen MOC
Using descriptive titles should guarantee uniqueness. If you have two identical titles they are either not descriptive enough, or should be combined.
These kind of titles can be easily linked to related topics, thus ensuring usefulness (in a zettelkasten).
β Note titles are like a thumbnail β Declarative titles test the validity of the noteβs claim
β Starting with a timestamp because it might be needed sometimes in the future is more premature optimization than solid reasoning.
Literature notes
Re-reading zettelkasten.de makes me reconsider some things. Should zettels have a numerical ID? IS the title not enough? If every file has a creation date, why bother with the date in the title? Is there ever a time I want to see notes sorted by date?
