Work in progress
Use to 1111
folder to quickly dump anything that catches my interest. Use QuickCapture as it is easier and faster than opening Obsidian.
Once a day empty the 1111
folder, use GTD logic, everything has its place / destination. Things don’t need to be finished, just processed.

Exploring Andy’s notes workflow
Andy — A reading inbox to capture possibly-useful references
Have an Inbox Zero approach to inputs. Don’t let tabs, or PDFs gather. Use a GTD-style Inbox where everything is gathered. The reading inbox is triaged thusly:
- Trashed — not worth the time
- Read seriously (i.e. write about what you read)
- Look over and file in the reference library
- Store for later use (useful, but not timely)
The goal is to Close open loops, don’t let things gather.
Me
This would be the perfect antidote to Fear of missing out
This workflow has constant input, processing is the bottleneck. Needs to reduce input (won’t read), quickly drop (nothing worth making notes of), or just add to resource for when needed later.
- Create an Apple shortcut to add anything to a dedicated page in Obsidian
