Zettelkasten and Evergreen notes connection

When finished, an atomic note is good as it is (learn to let go). But it is not the end of the story. It is finished now but will be a building block for something else tomorrow (notes are simply components, stripped of external context, collected for future use).

Notes are relatively small, its easy to revisit them. Over time our understanding of a subject changes. We also just get better at creating notes. Even if the content of a note changes, connection with other note stay in place. This makes a note a bridge to future understanding. Important to have good titles! Declarative titles test the validity of the note’s claim

A note contains our current understanding. spaced repetition enables a workflow of incrementally improving notes will help us to revisit notes, so even if our current knowledge is lacking, over time the note will improve.

Use links to see what areas of our thinking are not yet complete. Keywords are a help to jump into further areas of our PKM (Walking keywords shows multiple contexts in which we can find answers). → True understanding is understanding the limits (borders) of a text, and then having the ability to look beyond
