Zettelkasten and Evergreen notes feedback_loop → motivation / → dopamine → happiness
Seek an internal positive feedback loop for ongoing motivation. This will encourage skill improvement and leads to a more rewarding work experience
For me a very simple one is “ticking of lists”. Ticking of notes-to-be-worked-on from a list is a great motivator. Finding such motivators will help getting more (quality) work done.
When reading, think about things that might be linked to something in our PKM. It adds a while new dimension to reading.
Feedback generators:
- spaced repetition as a productivity tool
- evergreen workflow – This workflow has clear steps how to improve a note; combined with the previous spaced repetition it makes every edit a “well done, next!” endorphin-cookie
- Reading as a hunt for things to link
