Human behavior as automatons improvement

Having problems (studying) is not a bad sign in itself. It is a sign that you acknowledge the need to improve. Identifying problems is usually the first step in solving those problems. As far as note taking is concerned Trust the system, and learn to let go

It is a reverse Dunning-Kruger effect you know you are not as smart as everybody else, so wonder what to do next. Also imposter syndrome makes people with (potential) skills doubt themselves.

    • it is a sign of the willingness to grow and acknowledging shortcomings
      • Dunning-Kruger effect
        • paradox feeling worse when becoming better
          • feelings not a good indicator of progress
            • need external / more trustworthy indicators of progress
              • external input is needed as an indicator
  • initially feels like making slower progress when doing better work
    • first ideas probably not good
      • iteration should be standard procedure
        • smaller steps forwards > big uninformed leaps
          • small steps scale, or more future-proof
