⏱️Being productive and healthy planningstructureprocess

Longer and more complicated tasks cannot be finished on initial enthusiasm alone. In time those will wane, as the task is no longer interesting and new. Fear of missing out and next shiny thing will ask for our attention. Having workflows in place that we enjoy will reduce pain points. Combined with triggers of how much work is still to be done (Ovsiankina effect), might trick us into continueing work, or at least continueing at a later date.

A satisfactory workflow should not feel like flogging oneself. Willpower alone is not enough to power through everything (Willpower as a limited resource). It should give the freedom to go “do something else”. The system should make sure nothing gets forgotten or left behind (spaced repetition as a productivity tool). Which help to Trust the system, and learn to let go.

Feedback within the workflow will make completing more enjoyable (eg tick-boxes)
